The sea so vast and calm,
Looks serene and divine.
The soft gurgle that it makes
Seems to spin a tale.
Listen! It comes closer,
To share a secret I feel,
Or a tale of love?
Or does it talk about...
Pleasing smell of the
Earth, so naked and naïve.
Tantalizing the olfactory nerves,
Reassuring the onset of the rain.
Intoxicating the poet who's
Clouded with thoughts,
Hallucinating all the nature lovers,
Oh! Indeed a bliss it is and
Rightly called the Petrichor.
Photo...
The colours of fall,
Captivates us all.
Ushering the onset of winter,
When snow falls pitter patter.
The trees get ready,
To face the snow, all steady.
They probably know,
The leaves can't stand the snow.
Is that why the leaves ripen?
And...
Forests,
So dense,
And so deep.
You
Nurture creatures,
Big and small.
Your
Depth speaks,
Mythology and epics,
Civilizations,
Inventions, progress,
Of human race.
I
Oft wonder,
About our existence,
Sans
Your rich
And majestic presence.

A sea of gold,
Spread over a stretch,
Far beyond the eyes reach
.
Slender and tall palm trees,
With green crown and dates,
Is waiting for it's date.
.
A lonely cactus is yearning
For a companion,
In a land, that's barren.
.
Far away...
