മധുരമാം മലയാളം
അമ്മയാം സംസ്കൃതത്തോടു ചേർന്നിരിക്കും നിന്നിൽ,
മധുരവും മാധുര്യവും ഒഴുകിടുന്നു.
മലനാടാം നിൻ നാമത്തിന്നു
വട്ടെഴുത്തും കോലെഴുത്തും ഉടുപ്പുകളായി.
തുഞ്ചത്തെഴുത്തച്ഛനോ, അതിന്റെ മോടി കൂട്ടി.
ഉള്ളൂരും ആശാനും, വള്ളത്തോളും
ചങ്ങമ്പുഴയും ബഷീറും തകഴിയും
അവരുടെ മാന്ത്രിക സ്പർശത്താൽ നിന്റെ ഭംഗി കൂട്ടി.
പ്രൌഢി കവിയുന്ന ഹൃദയവുമായി
നിന്നെ പാടീ നടന്നു
സുഗതകുമാരി, ഒ എൻ വി, എംടി എന്നിവർ.
നിന്നെ ശ്വാസത്തിലേറ്റി നടന്ന
