They waited for the day,

With eagerness and tension,

As there, their happiness did lay.

To all gods they did pray,

To ensure their lives reached a contention,

They waited for the day.

When natural ways didn’t pay,

They sought medical intervention,

As there, their happiness did lay.

Putting their doubts away,

Their dreams caught attention,

They waited for the day.

They finally had it their way,

Their satisfaction, worth a mention

As there, their happiness did lay.

The pain they underwent, their tears did essay,

And they smiled, having erased their apprehension.

They waited for the day,

As there, their happiness did lay.
