That Bright Sun

-

Their lives were filled with gloom,

Like the pregnant, dark clouds that did loom,

Over the earth, arousing the petrichor.

Slowly, through the clouds, there came,

A streak of light – warmth it became,

So did the smile of the unknown to them.

The stranger, was an angel in disguise,

Who filled their lives with surprise,

By showering the rays of love.

He was the sun, who spread the light,

Making their lives bright, even at night.

Bringing them out from the darkness.

Dark clouds came and went,

But they couldn’t fulfill their intent,

All because of that bright SUN.
