Smoky Imprints

-

The azure sky,

Looked bright and calm,

Shining against the sun,

It looked all warm.

Gray coloured birds,

Flew across majestically.

Leaving a trail of smoke,

As the imprint on its body.

The birds had a tattoo,

The tricolour that we boast off.

They glided with ease,

Probably searching something to eat!!!

The prying eyes found a prey,

And the birds spewed fire.

Satisfied with the haul,

They retreated to the hanger.

Called the guardians of the sky,

The birds and their human friends,

Leave their imprints above

And keep us safe and sound.
