The days filled with laughter, 

Sans any worries. 

Running to parents for very minute things, 

Oh! How much I miss. 

Childhood was indeed a bliss. 

 

Playing with the raindrops, 

Floating the paperboats, 

And splashing the puddles

Oh! How much I miss. 

Childhood was indeed a bliss. 

 

Sharing lunch with friends, 

Eating from their boxes like it’s my own, 

Relishing mom’s delicacies, 

Oh! How much I miss. 

Childhood was indeed a bliss. 

 

The amazing train journeys, 

Racing and counting the trees, 

And savouring the khullad wali chai

Oh! How much I miss. 

Childhood was indeed a bliss. 

 

We learnt a lot from Surabhi, 

The BQC of Derek O’Brien

And the Harsha cheered Citius Altius Fortius. 

Oh! How much I miss. 

Childhood was indeed a bliss. 

 

Reliving those moments, 

Through my words these days, 

Nostalgic it is to pen these down.
