Through the floating sponge
I flew like the lovely bird,
Fearless, focussed, undeterred,
Ready for the plunge,
Into the depths of my life,
With confidence by my side.
The terrible sounds of blasts, oh! Unbearable.
The stench of blood, flesh and smoke, makes us uneasy.
What do you gain ye human, by spreading hatred?
Please, let us grow up in peace, shed war, embrace love.
Legend speaks in volumes
Of your prowess and courage,
You, an inspiration to all
Hailed a hero for a lone fight,
When kith and kin sought asylum,
You showed what real courage means.
forests of Wayanad, your friends,
Whom you knew...
Myriad hues of
Flowers, leaves, insects and birds
Enhance the beauty.
Lessons they teach of
Being pleasant and friendly
Towards the brethren.
They help each other
Despite the diversities.
Ain't that inspiring?
Birthing a life,
Ahh… that's a gift from God.
Like the trees,
We women, bear the joy.
Nurturing a tiny human,
Within us,
The feeling.. So surreal
and divine too.
The pain that we bear,
Makes us strong.
But oft I wonder,
Is this inborn?
Like...
Myriad hues so soothing,
Makes life go chirping,
As the birds dance around in glee,
My heart swoons unknowingly.
A sight like this is unmissable,
The image that's made isn't erasable.
Alas!! This has become just a dream,
As nature now...
Our togetherness
The universe seems to bless
Don't you see, my dear?
The dark, starlit sky,
The still waters of the lake,
Reflect our pure love.
Swirling around you,
With the cool, musical breeze,
I feel ecstatic.
Resting myself on
Your broad and caring...
