Bae

-

Brought to Chikmagalur by Baba Budan,

Coffee plantations look like Eden.

To plant her at the hills,

Certain norms one needs to fulfill.

Cardamom is it’s mother,

And cinnamon the father,

They nurture the coffee plant,

And with their presence the family just enchants.

Robusta, Arabica, the different types,

Plucked when rightly ripe,

Roasted to perfection,

Blended with chicory for the decoction,

The brown colour is a bliss,

A taste, you can’t afford to miss.

Milk, sugar and decoction,

With a book makes a good companion,

Coffee is bae,

And she takes me high.

Don’t miss my writings!
