The book begins with Sneha’s childhood in Pune. She, a happy go lucky child nurtured by progressive parents, was free to do what her heart said. She and her siblings were carefree, yet responsible.

Sandesh got married at 19 and changed her name to Sneha. True to her name she lives as a messenger of love. The life of a girl who completed her exams post marriage, who went from a family that imposed no restrictions to a family whose rules and regulations mellowed her down. Sneha lived through this only to lose her husband to cancer.

A life of a widow with a young son and an ailing mother in law, well I need not explain more. From here on, Sneha lives her life with awareness, and how!! In spite of losing her youth, the financial crunch, and no family for support, Sneha’s genes help her take charge of her life. Mind you, Sneha had helped her husband set up his business twice which speaks volumes of her abilities.

She believes she ‘deserves’ the best and goes all out to achieve it alone. She uses her life experiences and maturity to rebuild her life with responsibility. 

Sneha surprises us with her accomplishments, be it learning swimming, switching to a corporate job, trekking or traveling across the world, Sneha has emerged stronger.
