Title : Mrs Funnybones Returns

Author : Twinkle Khanna

Publisher : Juggernaut Books

Genre : Non-fiction, Humour

The sequel to Mrs Funnybones, which I haven’t read, Mrs Funnybones Returns doesn’t disappoint the reader.

Twinkle Khanna dives deep into our mundane chores and activities of juggling kids, dealing with in-laws, menopause, work, parties in a witty and satirical way.

She begins with her dilemma of losing her phone during a family outing and travels into motherhood of herself and her mother.

She seamlessly dives into the midlife friendship and talks about why we need a friend, the tensions of a mother whose child is giving the boards and the juggling that we end up doing at workplace and home.

Every anecdote in the book connects with the reader and ensures that the reader gets her lifespan extended because of the hearty laugh.

The author also leaves a few positive notes as reaffirmations in between the chapters.
