Dusty Affair

All people around,

Fourteen on ground, excluding him

And several in the stands,

Ducked for safety,

And covered their faces.

The kangaroo squad,

Were worried more,

To face his wrath,

Than the dust storm,

That swept Sharjah.

As the dust subsided,

One could see,

The five feet five inches Sachin,

Taking his stance,

To whack the bowlers off.

Stood he tall and strong,

Even though a little man he was.

His grit, courage,

Passion and perseverance

Sent goosebumps to all.
