What Was Our Fault ?

-

The child all of four,

Was assaulted by one and more.

Poor soul bled to death,

Is humanity under dearth ?

A girl in her early teens,

Was crumpled by boys so mean.

The scar that they left,

Was more than a mere theft.

A young boy with aspirations,

Was destroyed beyond imagination.

His future seemed cluttered,

As his soul was shattered.

Even the four-legged souls,

Weren’t spared as a whole.

The sapiens with the sixth sense,

Did claim complete pretense.

The child, the girl,

The boy and the animal,

Had only one thing to ask,

What’s our fault? Can someone unmask?
