The novel begins with a scientist being killed in cold blood and this gives the reader ample reasons to continue reading.

The focus then shifts to the year 2011, where Major Paramjeet, our protagonist, and his troupe are eagerly waiting to pounce on a dreaded terrorist. This exercise proves to be fatal as his troupe is eliminated completely leaving him severely injured.

The story unfolds from here when the seasoned military man that he was isn’t able to come to terms with the loss of his troupe and his limb. The guilt, the army instinct and  his father, Brigadier Chopra’s belief in him drives him forward to find what went wrong.

He embarks on the mission, when few deaths and his father’s poems bring about the mysterious project that was worked upon by Brigadier Chopra, scientist Dr. Venkatraghavan. As Paramjeet goes on this mission, he is helped by his brother, Vir and Shilpa, the love of his life and Dr. Venkatraghavan’s daughter 

Through well crafted words and well groomed characters, the author Priya dives into several emotions – love, betrayal, patriotism, mental trauma. 

The story keeps us on the edge of the seat and has the potential to be converted into an equally thrilling movie or web series.
